Our librarians have access to centuries of knowledge, which means that they can find answers to a variety of questions. Whether your question is about a building on your local high street, or deals with wider world events, Ask Scotland can help.
We may not always be able to help with detailed research or family history queries but a member of staff at your local reference library will be able to advise you.
The more information you give us, the better your answer is likely to be – please tell us what you already know about the topic and any sources you’ve checked.
